LOOK AT ME BEIN’ A BATRITO
THEY’RE SO FUCKING CUTE
AND THEIR WINGS ARE SO PRETTY
AND LOOK AT THEIR LITLLE FACES
AND THEIR WEIRD LITTLE NOSES
AND THEIR LITTLE CLAWS
AND THE AWKWARD WAY THEY WALK
DOESN’T THAT JUST MAKE YOU FUCKING MELT?
-My Friend Tim Curry has such an interesting filmography of characters, from subtly arrogant butlers to outrageously creepy clowns. They always have this charming yet sinister aura about them, though I’m guessing the British accent helps.
Tim Curry will always be my favorite voice actor.
“Zonnebeke”,1918, Sir William Orpen.
"Orpen was commissioned into the Army Service Corps as a second lieutenant in March 1916, and worked as a clerk at Kensington Barracks. But under the war artist’s scheme, in January 1917 he was released from these duties, given the rank of major, and, in April, arrived in Amiens. In the spring and summer of 1917 he painted the battlefields of the Somme, sometimes at places that had been captured only a short time earlier. Orpen described in a letter the shocking experience of seeing numbers of corpses lying unburied among the flooded shell holes, in a landscape totally empty of life. In his pictures of the blasted battlefields, and in his portraits of the exhausted or shell-shocked men, Orpen got physically and emotionally closer to the full horrors of the First World War than most of the other official artists." French graphic design duo Thomas and Quentin have created an awesome ongoing photo series of aesthetically dazzling and mouthwatering burgers called Fat and Furious Burger.
"Influenced by pop culture, history, and religion, the tasty concoctions are artfully set in various landspaces and scenes, correlating to their name and featured ingredients. "
Every burger is posted along with a title and ingredients list that explains the inspiration for the piece. You might be surprised to learn that each of their burgers is completely edible.
